As part of this year’s charity fundraising campaign at the Kiltwalk, we took some time out to visit Instant Neighbour to learn more about what they do within the community and lend a hand where we could at their premises on St Machar Drive. For the past 40 years Instant Neighbour has provided practical help, advice & support to some of the poorest and most vulnerable people living in and around Aberdeen.

A hugely rewarding and inspiring day meeting the team at their St Machar Drive HQ truly putting things into perspective. Scroll down to take a look back at the afternoon and learn more about the essential work the charity does across the city and how you can help!

We’d be thrilled if you joined us in supporting Instant neighbour by donating through the button above. All funds raised go directly to Instant Neighbour and allow the charity to support people locally in need.

Today, it operates from Instant Neighbour’s St Machar Drive premises where they have a full-time Community Connector to distribute food parcels and offer welfare advice and signposting to appropriate agencies that can help a wide array of issues that cause people to land themselves in food poverty. Last year alone Instant Neighbour supported over two thousand people.
